THE STORY SO FAR

I am a 20-year-old Aussie singer/songwriter who spent my childhood in Thousand Oaks, California. Now, I am living back in Sydney, in an awesome community in the Hawkesbury.  It took a while to figure out where I belonged - living between two worlds in my mind - but now I'm home again for sure. 

 

 Music has been my therapy since I was little.  It was there for me even before I knew it; but always felt it. Through car rides with friends, dancing with family, or helping me through a breakup, music was the constant.

 

And then one day, I finally figured out that I didn't only get to listen to the music I loved - I could make it.

That's when I wrote my first song. It felt so natural;  unlocking a part of myself I never knew existed. It was like lifting a weight off my shoulders.  In that moment, I knew music was forever.

Fast forward five years since that pivotal moment, and my life has taken a complete turn. I've come to understand that while I may be an introvert, the pieces of me I can give to the world are my songs.  A way to reach out, share my struggles and connect to yours - whether it's navigating the complexities of growing up, dealing with heartbreak, loss, or grappling with self-doubt. 

 

I guess my real hope is that my music resonates on an authentic level, reminding all of us that we're not alone, Just as countless artists and their music have done for me. So, thank you for listening to my story.  Here's to the journey together.
